Downtown Palm Springs

Downtown Palm Springs is a must for shopping. With a variety of local boutiques and name-brand stores, you’re bound to find something you’ll love here. Start off at Destination PSP with its stylish Palm Springs-inspired pieces that are sure to add the perfect desert flair to your home,  including mod and mid-century modern-inspired housewares, art prints, apparel, and more.

Keep cool in between shops with a treat from Kreem. Specializing in small-batch ice cream made with natural and organic ingredients, Kreem keeps their menu fresh with seasonal flavors. Stop by each time you stay with us and try a new flavor.

Uptown Design District

Uptown Design District is the hot spot in Palm Springs for vintage-inspired pieces and home to unique boutiques like The Shag Store – the only retail store and gallery for the acclaimed Southern California artist, Shag. His pieces are most recognized throughout Palm Springs by their vivid colors and retro flair. Or head over to The Shops at 1345 for a collection of luxurious local boutiques housed in a 1955 building designed by modernist architect E. Stewart Williams.

Kick off your shopping day with brunch at Cheeky’s, a Palm Springs staple featuring creative breakfast dishes and a frequently-changing menu. You may have heard of their “World Famous Bacon Flight” but if you have more of a sweet tooth, you’ll want to sink your teeth into their mouth-watering cinnamon rolls!

Desert Hills Premium Outlets Cabazon

Take the trip out to Cabazon for a shopping day at Desert Hills Premium Outlets, home to over 180 stores featuring all the brands you know and love at outlet prices. Desert Hills Premium Outlets is widely known for its selection of high-end and brand name designer outlets including Balenciaga, Calvin Klein, Coach, Kate Spade, Nike, Pandora, Prada, and more.

On your way back from Cabazon, pick up some fresh eats from Chef Tanya’s Kitchen to enjoy back in your condo. Chef Tanya’s Kitchen is a hidden gem that started as a manufacturing facility for their popular tempeh and seitan but has since expanded to a take-out eatery featuring all-vegetarian deli sandwiches, salads, bowls and more. Not sure what to get? Try starting with their El Cubano sandwich–a customer favorite!

After a day of shopping, relax and unwind back in your spacious condo at Casitas del Monte.
